Dear Prayer Partners, November Update
Thank you for bringing us before the Father! God wants us to depend on each other to accomplish His will together, and praying for each other is a big part of that!
We have been visiting our partner churches, telling about our life in India. It’s been so encouraging to be with so many people who are committed to following Christ and bringing the Good News to every person. If you’re someone we’ve seen in the last several weeks who has taken the time to ask us questions and offer us encouragement, thank you! If not, then hopefully we’ll see you in the next few weeks!
Here are the churches we’ll be visiting in the near future:
Dec. 7th: Rooftop Community Church, St. Louis, MO
Dec. 14th: Vision Christian Church, Foristell, MO
Jan. 4th: O’Fallon Christian Church, O’Fallon, MO
We still have a couple more churches to get on the schedule. We’re staying in Wentzville, MO, right now, with Jason’s parents. If you’d like to meet with us individually or have us come speak to a small group – or if your church isn’t one of our partner churches and you’d like us to talk to your missions committee – then just let us know. We’re really excited to help Christians connect to what God is doing in India and will make the most of every opportunity to tell about our ministry there.
Please pray for these specifics:
- Praise God for all the people and churches who have offered us encouragement over the last several weeks
- Praise God that he has kept us safe and helped us thrive during our travels
- Pray that God would raise up someone to loan us a car – we’re still borrowing from our families whenever they aren’t using theirs, but don’t have a vehicle to use from day to day
- Pray that God would give us wisdom as we work out the details of our plans for India and as we seek out more training to be well-equipped for ministry there
Ben update: Ben spent half of Thanksgiving running laps around the living room with his three-year-old cousin Ady. He still hasn’t gotten used to eating meat, so he turned up his nose at Thanksgiving turkey, and he was skeptical about the sweet potatoes, but he liked the cranberries. His favorite word right now is “no”, and people have been telling us that he’ll get tired of that by the time he’s about seventeen. He’s been getting used to cold weather, but he doesn’t even know what he’s in for: we can’t wait to watch him play in snow for the first time!
Thank you for your partnership! We’d love to hear from you! Drop us a line and let us know how you’re doing and how we can pray for you!
For Christ’s Kingdom,
Jason, Karyn, and Benjamin
