OCC is where you can CONNECT with God and others, BELONG, and GROW in your faith in Christ, utilizing your gifts and skills to serve others.

Helping each other discover our God story through building connections and in community!

Connect with God---We are a church of active participants seeking after God through Bible study and worship!  The Christian faith is always to be moving forward.  It is never to be stagnant.

• Behold, I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.  Revelation 3:20 (ESV)
• So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.  Romans 10:27 (ESV)

Connect with Others---We are a church that believes in the power of COMMUNITY!  OCC is a place where you not only can belong but a place where you can plug in.  

• And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.  Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV)
• Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.  1 Thess. 5:11 (ESV)

Connect in Ministry (serving) Serving is not something we NEED from you but something we want FOR you!  Serving is where the connection takes place, where you take ownership of your faith, becoming the hands and feet of Jesus!  God created you with a purpose (skills & gifts) that you can use to change lives in your community and world.

• For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.  Ephesians 2:10 (ESV)
• For the body does not consist of one member but of many. 1 Corinthians 12:14 (ESV)

Partner with us!  (Membership) What does it mean to believe and follow Jesus?  What does it mean to be a member of the church? 

Grow with us!  Discover basic spiritual disciplines that all believers need to cultivate for spiritual growth.

Serve with us!  What are your gifts and skills, and where can you serve?

Share with others!  Taking Jesus everywhere you go!
